Friday 7th June 2024
8am – 3pm: Bump-in
3:00pm – Team Briefing for Friday Night Chili Cookoff (Entry is limited to 15 teams and entry fee is $50 )
5:00pm – Gates & Bars Open
6:00pm – Band plays & Chili available for select customers from VIP tent
8:00pm – People’s choice winner announced 1st - $500 2nd - $300 3rd - $100
Saturday 8th June 2024 – SCA
7am-9.30am: Bump-in (cars offsite by 9.30am SHARP)
10am: Team Briefing – Judges Tent
*All team members must attend – All cars off-site!
10am-12noon – Team site Inspections
10.30am – Cooking Starts SCA
11am – Gates open to the public
12noon – Cooking Starts ABA
12-12.30pm – Steak A
1-1.15pm – Burger
2-2.15pm – Wings
3-3.15pm – Cocktail
4-4.30pm – Steak B
5pm – Awards

Cost of Entry
ABA Team Entry - $450
Max team members if 4 people and includes 4 x 3-day tickets to Smoke in Broke BBQ Festival. Site size is 6m x 6m – additional space can be obtained if required. We also offer tickets at a discounted price for family and friends. Code will be announced a week before event.
SCA Steak Entry is $150 – Ancillary Categories are $25 each to enter.
All SCA entries must cook out of an existing ABA Site unless arranged with organisers.
Refunds are not available less than 60 days from the event.

IMPORTANT/PLEASE Note
• Team sites are roughly 6x6m. Larger spaces on request.
• Caravans/Additional space can be purchased/organised, but we must know if advance.
• Each entry receives 4 x 3-day tickets only.
• Teams must have safety vests and closed toe shoes on during bump in/out. Please no children during these times as we have a lot of things in motion.
• No teams are allowed to sell food or product at their cooking area.
• All associated electrical equipment must have a current test tag. WE HAVE AN ELECTRICIAN ON SITE. If anything is tripping or you see sparks, PLEASE let us know so we can fix this!
• Team sponsor advertising is allowed provided not deemed excessive by the event co-ordinator. All banners to be within your allocated space, not including the fence. No signs above 2.4m.
• During opening hours the event is a licensed venue. No outside Alcohol is allowed during these hours.
• Wash-up stations and bins will be provided. Showers are not available at this event as part of your entry. We have tried and tried, but have not been successful to find portable showers that can work.
Terms of Entry
By entering the Contest, each entrant forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless the event organisers, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective agents, advertising and promotion agencies, Contest partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, and agents from and against all claims, damages, or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from (a) entrant’s participation in the Contest, or Contest related activities or events, (b) entrant’s Submission, (c) entrant’s representations and agreements in these Official Rules, and (d) entrant’s award, receipt, or use of any prize awarded in the Contest. The event organisers and the ABA reserve the right, at their own sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time.
